INVITATION FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE 2019 ONE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ONE PRODUCT (OLOP) PROGRAMME FORMICRO AGRO-PROCESSORS (COMMUNITY BASED COOPERATIVES/SELF-HELP GROUPS/ENTERPRISES.

INTRODUCTION

The Federal Government of Nigeria has earmarked funds for the execution of One Local Government One Product (OLOP) for Micro Enterprises by the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN). The project is aimed at providing support to Enterprises and Cooperative societies across the country.

DESCRIPTION:

Registered Community Based Cooperative societies/self-help groups and Agro-processors that are interested in participating in the project are encouraged to express interest if they meet the following requirements,

REQUIREMENTS:

1.                 corporate profile

2.                 Certificate of registration (at least 2 years)

3.                 Pictures of product and available equipment/Machinery

4.                 Minutes of meetings including attendance

5.                 Evidence of joint ownership of cooperative assets (if any)

6.                 Membership strength, LGA of operation, senatorial district and full

address of the cooperative society/Enterprise

7.                 Name of president or Chairperson full address and phone

number, E-mail address (if any).

8.       Three(3) Page business case on how to improve your business

PROJECT COVERAGE:All the thirty-six (36) states and the FCT.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

The expression of interest should be submitted with the subject matter as; the Name of Cooperative, State/LGA and One Local Government One Product (OLOP) should be boldly written on the reverse side of all the envelopes.All documents which should be in ring binding should be addressed to:
