STAGE 2 - (VIDEO APPLICATION)

Video

  1. 1. Start your video by clearly stating your name and Business name:

    Explain what your business does and its unique value. Focus on what sets you apart from others in your industry. Highlight your business goals and any major milestones or achievements. Make it personal and Highlight what makes your business unique!

  2. 2. Identify Your Sector:

    SMEDAN Focuses on 8 key growth sectors. Clearly state which of these sectors your business falls under:

    • Agriculture
    • Manufacturing
    • Creative Economy
    • Technology
    • Trade & Commerce
    • Hospitality & Tourism 
    • Health & Education
    • Renewable Energy

  3. 3. Record a CLEAR and Engaging Pitch:

    Your pitch should be concise and compelling. Focus on the value your business brings, its impact, and how it fits into one of the SMEDAN sectors. Keep your video between 1 to 3 minutes long.

  4. 4. Upload Your Pitch Video on Social Media:

    Choose one social media platform (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn) to upload your video and identify your social media handle below. 

    IMPORTANT: Don't forget to tag @SMEDANgov and use the following hashtags:

    • #smedanpitchcompetition
    • #smedangov
    • #grownigeria
    • #msmeconference24

    Note: Ensure your post is set to public so that the SMEDAN team can view it and evaluate your entry. Only apply once. 

  5. 5. Deadlines (Video Upload & Application Period):

    16th September to 21st September, 2024

    Be sure to submit both your video and this application form before the deadline. LATE entries will not be considered.
