The Director General of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) Dr Dikko Umaru Radda, has called for stronger collaboration with all SME Development Agencies in the country to speed development of the sub sector and provide job opportunities. Dr Radda, who made the call in Jos on Monday 29th January 2018, at the opening of the 2018 Management retreat and strategy session of SMEDAN noted that unless fruitful collaborations between SMEDAN and other SME Development Agencies are consummated, the SME sub sector would continue to lag behind in driving the Nigerian economy despite its huge potentials
The Director General/CEO of Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency of Nigeria, Dr. Dikko Umaru Radda has reiterated the Agency’s desire to partner with the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) towards building the capacities of rescued victims of Human Trafficking.
The Director General stated this when he led the SMEDAN Management team on a courtesy visit to NAPTIP in Abuja. Dr. Radda said that having watched with keen interest the giant strides and efforts put in place towards combating the scourge of trafficking, SMEDAN was encouraged and willing to extend its specialized training programmes as a means of providing sustainable livelihood that would facilitate economic and financial self-reliance through entrepreneurship development. The Director General of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria, SMEDAN, Dr. Dikko Umaru Radda and his Management team has briefed the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Industry Trade and Investment Mr. Edet Sunday Akpan on the activities of the Agency in his office. During the briefing, the Director General noted that the management felt there was need to update the permanent secretary on the activities of the Agency. Add a comment
